Pea Guacamole

Avacados are great for you, but high in calories, so should be eaten in moderation. here is an awesome alternative that will surprise you how good peas can taste! you can also add a little avacado if you like. some great chip dipping alternatives are: crackers, baby carrots, chopped broccoli or cauliflower.


2 cup frozen peas
1 tbls. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 small red onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1-2 tblsp minced cilantro
1/2 cup minced tomatoe or you can cheat and throw in 1/2 cup salsa

make sure to boil peas for about 2 minutes, just to soften up. drain and rinse in cold water
put everything into a food processor (or i use my cuisine art)
